Being a store very rooted in its local town pride of "Bayonne", the owner of the store requested the logo be very representative of the town. One specific request was incorporating the Bayonne Bridge somewhere within the logo. 

Focusing on the identity of the company first as a smoke shop I created a silhouette of a hookah with highlights to accent it. I decided to make the letters based on the hookah, making the "Smoking" the hookah tube and the "Bayonne" the smoke coming from it in a modified smoke typography Royal Inferno. 

I decided to have the Bayonne Bridge right above the Bayonne and extend from the "Smokes" hookah tube, connecting the brand identity as not just a smoke shop, but a Bayonne smoke shop.
